Man Regifts Mom On Mother’s Day

Not looking for the perfect gift, Spokane Washington resident Chester Simpson gathered up a number of things his mom had given him over the years and presented them to her on Mother’s Day. Approaching the front door of his mother’s home, within walking distance of his own, Chester dropped a box full of regifts on the front porch, rang the doorbell and walked away. Asked about the gifts he regifed his mother Chester described a roller ball pen made entirely of wood that, once extended, never retracted, a stack of untouched Dollar Tree Sudoku puzzle books, a lifetime of holiday and birthday greeting cards with no written messages, and a collection of coffee mugs with stenciled inspirational sayings that, although might never inspire greatness, could prevent suicide. “I just want her to be happy on Mother’s Day,” said Chester walking home in an upbeat mood. “And to see if she can actually use any of that shit.”
